Arrangements under the direction of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Phenix City, AL.Joseph Mark Haywood, 53 of Opelika, AL passed away Saturday October 8, 2016 in Panama City, FL. The family will welcome guests for visitation Friday October 14, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Striffler-Hamby 3770 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City, AL. A Celebration of Mark's Life will be Saturday October 15, 2016 in Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby at 11:00 am followed by a committal service at Sunset Memorial Gardens cemetery in Phenix City, AL.

Mark was born October 7, 1963 in Columbus, GA to Betty Haywood and the late Joseph Haywood. He was a Heavy equipment hauler for Hudmon Construction Co. He loved Nascar racing and was an avid Florida Gator Football Fan. He was a very loving man who adored his wife and loved his family very much.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Arnold Haywood. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Kristina Haywood; children, Joseph (LeighAnn) Haywood, Scotty (Ashley) Haywood, Kristi Haywood (Jeremie) Hobbs; parents Ed and Betty Niles; siblings and their spouses, Tim and Trish Haywood, Flecia and Glenn Turner, and several step brothers & sisters; grandchildren, Joseph Haywood, Jayce Haywood, Bailey Haywood, Luke Haywood, Ella Haywood, and Hadley Haywood; nieces, nephews, other family members and many, many friends.
